In New Orleans, ASDI's Dr. Sally Winston presented a Post-Conference Training Institute at the annual conference of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) entitled, "What Every Trauma Therapist Should Know About Panic, Phobias and OCD."
Filling in for Jerilyn Ross, President of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, ASDI's Dr. Steve Shearer presented the keynote address on anxiety to the annual Building Bridges Conference sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Maryland, the Health Facilities Association of Maryland and the Developmental Disabilities Administration at Stella Maris in Baltimore.

Several ASDI clinicians attended or presented at the 2004 National Conference of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America in Miami Beach. Dr. Sally Winston was appointed to ADAA's national board of directors.
March, 2003
Several ASDI clinicians presented at the 2003 National Conference of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America in Toronto. Dr. Sally Winston chaired a clinical consultation forum and also coordinated an exchange among clinicians on special topics. Mr. Andre Papantonio presented a workshop entitled, "The Use of Mindfulness Meditation in the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders." Mr. Carl Robbins presented a workshop entitled "Speaking Circle." Both Mindfulness Meditation and Speaking Circle groups are available through ASDI.
