July, 2006 ![]() ASDI's Dr. Steve Shearer published (with Jay Winner, M.D. from Santa Barbara, CA) an article in Patient Care entitled, "The 15 Minute Visit: Stress." May, 2006 ![]() ASDI's Dr. Sally Winston presented "Integrative Treatment of the Anxiety Disorders" at the Maryland Psychological Association's Ocean City Institute. ![]() ASDI's Dr. Steve Shearer co-presented on Anxiety Disorders with Dr. Faith Dickerson at a continuing education conference for nurses and social workers held in the auditorium at Stella Maris. Dr. Winston presented "Panic Attacks as the Tip of the Iceberg" for Anxiety Disorder Rounds. November, 2005 ![]() In Toronto, ASDI's Dr. Sally Winston presented a lecture at the annual conference of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) entitled, "What Every Trauma Therapist Should Know About Panic, Phobias and OCD." March, 2005 ![]() ASDI's Carl Robbins, Michael Checknoff, Eve Berkow and Sally Winston all attended the 25th annual meeting of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America in Seattle. Dr. Winston moderated a clinical consultation forum and a clinical exchange on the topic of Anxiety and Religion. February, 2005 ![]() On February 9, ASDI's Dr. Sally Winston presented a well received grand rounds entitled, "The Phenomenology and Psychotherapy of OCD: It's Not What You Think," at Sheppard Pratt Hospital. ![]() ASDI's Dr. Steve Shearer authored a 64 page CME monograph on anxiety disorders published by the American Academy of Family Physicians. |
