ASDI's Michael Checknoff, Andre Papantonio, and Dr. Sally Winston all attended the 31st Annual Conference of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America March 24-27 in New Orleans. Mr. Papantonio presented a conference entitled, Buddhist Roots of Cognitive De-fusion in the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders.
ASDI is proud to announce that Dr Sally Winston was awarded the first Jerilyn Ross Clinician Advocate Award at the Opening Plenary of the 2011 national conference of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America in New Orleans . To honor the memory and lifework of Jerilyn Ross, cofounder of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America and president from 1985 to 2010, this award acknowledges a professional who exemplifies excellence and outstanding advocacy for patient education and care, training, and research.
